How can I access my old HOTMAIL account. All my emails are there, not in Outlook. I don't like nor want the new Outlook. I want access to my HOTMAIL account. The email addresses are different.

I would like a clear explanation of what to expect when I attempt to log on. I am unable to logon to my hotmail address. I'd like a SIMPLE explanation of what will happen when I use the instructions you have provided:

To access your Hotmail email account, follow these steps:

     1. Visit the login page at https://outlook.live.com

     2. Enter your Hotmail email address (e.g., ******@hotmail.com) in the

            logon box.

     3. Enter the password associated with you Hotmail account.

     4. Click the "Sign In" button (-)1

Alternatively, you can install the Microsoft Outlook app on you mobile

device or visit the Outlook website, input your Hotmail email address,

           and sign in. (-)2

What I don't understand is what happens to the emails within the Hotmail app -

Will they be "combined" with any new emails?

           Should I logon with myname.OUTLOOK.com"?

Should any future emails be addressed to the Outlook address?

Or should my "current Hotmail mail" be addressed to the 'new' Outlook address?

Or will any new "Hotmail addressed mail" be added without correspondents having to use the Outlook address?

Sorry to plague you with questions, but I'd like to understand what to expect.

p.s based on the statement within FAQs "By using or accessing our products or services on or after September 30, 2024, you are agreeing to the updated Microsoft Services Agreement", I guess there's only one answer - see below...

When I try to log into my Hotmail account, the computer opens an old account with messages from April rather than giving me the option to put in a password for Hotmail. How do I access my current Hotmail account?
