Using New Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management

How do I TURN OFF the "Summary by Copilot banner that appears on every single email I receive in outlook?
I may, maybe once a year when tagged into a super long email thread try to get a summary... but 99.99% of the time I will never want to use this, as such the banner is annoying and consumes lots of valuable space where I could render my email.
How can I turn this off? or hide it by default?

This is soooooo annoying!!!!!
I have the same issue.
Called Microsoft help to get it resolved and the IT guy couldn't remove it, after an hour of trying. He told me he would report it to the technical support to fix it but it is still an issue. The suggestion provided by De Paul was not helpful either - this is an issue for individuals, not just organizations, so needs a resolution with a set of instructions for the individual.
PLEASE TURN THIS FEATURE OFF, MICROSOFT!!!!
Same issue here as well. Why do we have a busted solution jammed down our throats. These supposed AI systems are just glorified search engines. Engines that are searching through the internet where the majority of information is either a lie or just wrong. How is that productive in a corporate environment. Give the users the right to block Copilot. After all we pay you to supply a service, not to keep milking our wallets.
Plus one. Would also like to remove it.
Add me to the list of people who think this is a waste of space and time. Allow individual preferences to be set and one of them to be able to DISABLE this "feature".
