How do I TURN OFF the "Summary by Copilot banner that appears on every single email I receive in outlook?
I may, maybe once a year when tagged into a super long email thread try to get a summary... but 99.99% of the time I will never want to use this, as such the banner is annoying and consumes lots of valuable space where I could render my email.
How can I turn this off? or hide it by default?

I can only hope they see how many people object and remove Copilot.
It's a waste.

No.
They need a Copilot to track your activities and interests. Based on that, they understand better how you think and what you want. Something like profiling. You can disable this in the Outlook app, but you can't do it on web Outlook. There, it has to run and analyze.
Because of all that, Windows Mail, which was excellent, was discontinued.
Based only on what I want, I want it to be removed.
Perhaps they will see that.
I can only hope.
Fantastic. This works a treat. You are a living legend.
