How do I TURN OFF the "Summary by Copilot banner that appears on every single email I receive in outlook?

I may, maybe once a year when tagged into a super long email thread try to get a summary... but 99.99% of the time I will never want to use this, as such the banner is annoying and consumes lots of valuable space where I could render my email.

How can I turn this off? or hide it by default?

    You are 100% correct Paul

    I will not give up.

    I email them every day.

They do not care about us!

The summaries are totally useless for my usage and the button obscures the email subject so I need to click on it to see enough to decide if it is for immediate deletion. It screws up my workflow and increases the time needed to do my job. Did anyone consider the users when they inflicted this on us?

Try opening View, then Reading Pane. In the dropdown menu, click on HIde.
