How do I TURN OFF the "Summary by Copilot banner that appears on every single email I receive in outlook?

I may, maybe once a year when tagged into a super long email thread try to get a summary... but 99.99% of the time I will never want to use this, as such the banner is annoying and consumes lots of valuable space where I could render my email.

How can I turn this off? or hide it by default?

    Get your <expletive deleted> spyware off my computer!

    I was able to unistall the Copilot apps you 'gifted' to me, but the unwelcome monstrosities leave their claw marks elsewhere in programs that I need.

    In no way shape or form do I need need your spyware's 'help' to read my own email.

    The summary bar goes or Outlook does. Pick.

    When people see how easy it is to switch to Linux and still have access to what they need, you guys are not gonna have a good time of it. This kind of **** will help push people away from M$ products. Especially when they find out how much cheaper it is to not get spied on.

    As a simple home user, I didn't even realize I have a Copilot! How is it beneficial to me & how do I disable it?

    Adding my voice as someone who woke up to this horrifying 'feature' and copilot sudden appeared like a tumour throughout my pc

    Not wanted, not needed, not asked for, yet not removeable. Classic.

    So I awoke to find the same thing. Very surprising how Microsoft feels that EVERYONE needs them to help them read their emails, or raise their kids, or brush their teeth.

    That said, similar to one other post about this topic for users of Chrome, I use Firefox and use uBlock Origin as an ad blocker. I happened to right click on the copilot banner looking for a "shut this feature off" button or something and noticed that on the context menu for uBlock that it said "Block Element". I clicked on that and the litttle copilot icon disappeared, but the box remained. I then clicked on the "X" element and it disappeared. There were a few more elements in that box which I could remove and when there was nothing but the box, I was able to remove that as well.

    I never realized that uBlock Origin could do that, and I'm not sure if it will survive a reboot, but I'll find out. Hope this can help someone.

    The usual FEATURE that does not comply with the ability to turn off on the Office 365, will the children at Microsoft programming dept, do a proper course on software development BEFORE inflicting their game on the user community
