How do I TURN OFF the "Summary by Copilot banner that appears on every single email I receive in outlook?

I may, maybe once a year when tagged into a super long email thread try to get a summary... but 99.99% of the time I will never want to use this, as such the banner is annoying and consumes lots of valuable space where I could render my email.

How can I turn this off? or hide it by default?

    Please add me to the long list of users that went on a search for, "How do I turn that dumb thing off!"

    Has anybody thought about asking Co-Pilot to stop??? Maybe that's how to shut it off!

    A.I. is just another fad and like a lot of fad's that came before it, it too will pass!

    Thanks! But it was SO MUCH EASIER to just leave Outlook. I tried Wino but I like EM Client even better! It took less than 10 minutes to switch and it so much better.

    A temporary solution to remove the Copilot Banner from Outlook Web is to install the Stylish chrome extension and then create your own local style with the following code:
    Image

    Here the code is again as text so you can copy:

    div#ItemReadingPaneContainer > div:nth-child(2) {

    display: none;

    }

    Thanks for that. I've just switched mine to get rid of copilot in those apps at least. Hopefully M$ will listen and provide the option to disable in outlook web.

    Would be far better for the end-user if there was simply an option to disable it outright, or at the very least, put users by default onto the non-AI version at the same price, rather than try to swipe an extra 30% off every M365 customer. That's a really underhanded tactic.
