How to remove the unverified sender message?

Hi,

I keep getting an 'unverified sender' message in Outlook (desktop and web app). I've added the address to 'trusted sender' and I've whitelisted the domain but still keep getting it.

The sender is 'trusted' and a reputable domain.

Is there anything else I can do on my side or is it down to the sender?

    This is a very good point. 3rd-party email protection is often very good and there should be a way for administrators to disable the banner in Outlook in such cases. The current experience is confusing for end users and, given the high warning rate, meaningless noise that users simply click through.

    We are getting this as well, how many of you are using 3rd party API based email filtering solutions with your 365 email? Solutions from Barracuda, Sophos, etc?

    URL rewrites to force scanning on any device a end user is using to access company data seems to be a surefire way to get this warning from Microsoft, even though its a Microsoft certified email protection API. You may see a link with, for example "https://us-east-2.protection.sophos.com..."When you click it the safe scan happens then your redirected to the original URL.

    For Those of us that are not IT specialists and run unrelated businesses, we do not have the time to chase the rabbit down the abbreviation hole. The most logical solution is to do/ have what is already available in the email options eg. "this is not junk."

    Done, simple. Problem solved. Let microsoft worry about SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, M&M, IOU, IUD and all the other secret codes.

    Let us run our businesses and worry about the other 55 million things to do.

    If I forward my Unverified sender messages to by gmail, account they are not unverified.
