how can I remove the ads from my email in outlook on my android phone?

I have a paid subscription to Microsoft 365.

In Outlook on my pixel, I am seeing ads that I don't see on my notebook or desktop device.

If I delete 1 ad, another replaces it.

This is a new (less than a week) happening.

It's annoying, especially since I pay for Microsoft 365 and have for many years.

    Aside from wholeheartedly agreeing with most other comments here that have express2d their frustration and disappointment in the really poor customer service from MS (i mean they can ever just give a clear answer to paying customers about how to find a simple device setting inside of their app?!?! ****)

    Here is the solution:

    1. Open Outlook in your android phone
    2. On the left side open the account menu and scroll down
    3. and at the bottom click the gear wheel for settings
    4. find privacy settings
    5. scroll down and disable the "show personalised ads" toggle

    And finally FU Microsoft... you suck at service!

    I have paid version also and still see these fucking ads.
    What is going on, will have to cancel my subscription of 6 years if this shit doesnt dissapear from my inbox

    Do what I've done. Uninstall it. There are plenty of free email programs that don't throw ads in. I use TypeApp looks and feels very much like Outlook, does everything Outlook does, signatures, multiple accounts, etc etc I've been using it for years.

    I'm fed up with advertisements everywhere and this one is easy to solve.

    Totally agree, but my problem with that approach is I have paid for 5 licenses for Office 365 and I do not see why I should just walk away. Microsoft just don’t seem to want to fix this, happy to take money from people but when they need to fix a small thing they are not interested. Shocking behaviour from a company like Microsoft in my view.
