how can I remove the ads from my email in outlook on my android phone?

I have a paid subscription to Microsoft 365.

In Outlook on my pixel, I am seeing ads that I don't see on my notebook or desktop device.

If I delete 1 ad, another replaces it.

This is a new (less than a week) happening.

It's annoying, especially since I pay for Microsoft 365 and have for many years.

It really wasn't me. MS posted the fix previously, but it was a little technical and long-winded. Plus, it seemed senseless as to why they just didn't fix it on their end. Once I ferreted out the very few important words being, "create an outlook.com email account" and "add it as an alias to your MS account" you're done. Winner, winner, chicken dinner.

NOW, I can't figure out why I am now getting duplicates in Outlook Android. Related? Whack A Mole?

The outlook.com address might be a useful "black-hole" address. Use it for an entity that requires an address to be entered but you never want to have contact with them again. I have an SBC and AOL address that every blue moon or so, I login to and mass delete everything.

actually, just added an outlook.com alias, and then added that acct to my android and the ads have gone! Thanks for the clarification
