how can I remove the ads from my email in outlook on my android phone?

I have a paid subscription to Microsoft 365.

In Outlook on my pixel, I am seeing ads that I don't see on my notebook or desktop device.

If I delete 1 ad, another replaces it.

This is a new (less than a week) happening.

It's annoying, especially since I pay for Microsoft 365 and have for many years.

    I'm wondering why everyone in this thread is missing the obvious. If you don't want to use the Outlook app, then download another one (there are many alternatives) and use it. Maybe I'm missing something? Is there a reason why you MUST use the Outlook app?

    Two months ago exactly, I posted a message here stating that I had added my Comcast account to the Gmail app and got rid of the Outlook app. No mores ads. I can easily switch between my Gmail and Comcast accounts. I don't get many Gmail messages anyway.

    Try it, you'll like it!

    Thanks for supporting me. I thought I was being helpful when I passed on the fix only to hear more whining, sometimes seemingly directed at me. I guess the old saying about leading a horse to water still applies.

    Granted the fix is a pain in the **** but it does work if one takes personal responsibility and does the work to fix it. Microsoft ain't our mama and really doesn't need our money.

    No good deed goes unpunished. Another good oldie.

    I have the same problem...

    An M365 subscription which includes the right email addresses - worrying fine for years and now suddenly I'm getting Ads in the past week.

    i have had an 'outlook' account, hotmail specifically, since 1997. it never occurred to me to buy the priveledge of 'no ads' until recently, when it became nearly impossible to read the mail due to ads.

    somehow, like a miracle, after my inquiry post here the ads went away.....

    so my guess is that the money made the difference and a sign out sign in thing had to be done.

    i also know that NO ONE AT MICROSOFT, or even CHROMECAST, ever ever ever is available. if it werent for these forums to let us poor slobs know we are not alone when experiencing poor or no customer support i wager a guess we would all go mad.

    well, anyone out there who has had the same issues, try a complete sign out of your email as well as browser (if it is microsoft), and sign back in.

    otherwise, get your money back.....:)

    another interesting condition with ms is the outlook 'authenticator'.....which does NOT transfer from phone to phone, thereby making it necessary to have 2 damn phones available to sign in any damn way.

    i think its all a modern day **** that us mortals will never overcome easily....
