how can I remove the ads from my email in outlook on my android phone?

I have a paid subscription to Microsoft 365.

In Outlook on my pixel, I am seeing ads that I don't see on my notebook or desktop device.

If I delete 1 ad, another replaces it.

This is a new (less than a week) happening.

It's annoying, especially since I pay for Microsoft 365 and have for many years.

Thanks,

Sally

OK, from NL, same story here, on my OnePlus 11 5G. Android v14.

Out of the blue these annoying ads started to appear on top of both my e-mail accounts since earlier today. No announcement/communication whatsoever beforehand.

Both accounts are also connected to my M365 account/subscription. Of all my devices where I've installed Outlook this ONLY happens on this single device.

As I did nothing myself for these ads to appear and certainly would never have requested for this to occur, I demand from MS to remove these ads from the Outlook app on my OnePlus 11 device ASAP.

In general I'm rather fed up with the likes of Microsoft and also Google / Nest and yes also Apple who show not the least of empathy toward their customers. As long as you keep paying them, directly or indirectly via ads. This is again another example of blatant exploitation by this 'tech' oligopoly 🤮

I have the same problem although interestingly only on my Android phone and not on my Windows 11 machine. I have a fully paid up subscription for MS 365 but still have it and the correct address is registered !!!!!!!

Is there a reason why Microsoft still haven't sorted this? The original question was posted in early June. More than 2 months later and they haven't got a fix. I've been pretty loyal to Microsoft so far but this is making me angry and I'm considering not renewing my subscription again.

I too have these annoying ads on my android phone and have a paid subscription that is tied directly to my email address associated with my account. Microsoft needs to stop these adds for paid customers first and foremost.

Second it needs to put a clear and simple fix as all of the suggestions so far have failed to stop the ads.
