Every day I receive 20-30 emails where the sender from address starts with renew@ (see image below) Outlook is placing these messages in the Junk email folder. But, every day I have to scan the Junk mail folder looking for appropriate messages that should have shown up in my Inbox.
I would like to create a Rule that automatically deletes any message in the Junk email folder who's sender name begins with "renew@"
I have actually created a rule but I cannot figure out how to run it against the Junk email folder.

This same thing is happening to me with emails with renew@ and now it's starting with emails with preview@. I started blocking the emails first, but there is so many, now I'm trying to report them as phishing to see if it helps, but it's so much email. I can't believe Microsoft can't catch this with the number of email & people are complaining about this.
I wish I knew how to contact the appropriate people at Microsoft about this. I noticed the spammers have started using preview@ instead of renew@
I have submitted an enhancement request to allow Rules to run against the Junk email folder. Right now they only run against the Inbox. If they made this enhancement then we could automatically delete the spam instead manually deleting or waiting 30 days for it to get deleted.

It won't but if you like wasting your time, keep reporting them.

If it's in the Junk folder, spam filter already detects/catches them. It would've been better to reject them entirely instead of accepting them as spam and cluttering the Junk folder. Whether or not rejecting spam is technically feasible is a different story.

Why? Spammers have million/billion other email addresses, IP addresses, subject lines to use. Are you going to keep creating rules? You think you can win a battle between you and spammers using static rules? I'll give you a week or two before you give up adding more rules to auto delete them. Spam filter should have prevented them from getting delivered into any folder (Inbox, Junk or Deleted). This isn't a manual job for users. Trust me, you can't win a fight against spammers using rules.
Yes, the same happened to me. But pattern is the same - preview@ remains, and the rest of the address is always different.
The spammer is quite good in playing bad games with Microsoft... and users are the victims... :-(
