Sending, receiving, and organizing email in Outlook.com
No advice because we can't do anything in this case. As I said before, spam filter already detects them and places them in Junk folder. Manual clean up (delete them) is all we can do.

Every day I receive 20-30 emails where the sender from address starts with renew@ (see image below) Outlook is placing these messages in the Junk email folder. But, every day I have to scan the Junk mail folder looking for appropriate messages that should have shown up in my Inbox.
I would like to create a Rule that automatically deletes any message in the Junk email folder who's sender name begins with "renew@"
I have actually created a rule but I cannot figure out how to run it against the Junk email folder.

So, how?? What's your advice?
This same thing is happening to me with emails with renew@ and now it's starting with emails with preview@. I started blocking the emails first, but there is so many, now I'm trying to report them as phishing to see if it helps, but it's so much email.
It won't but if you like wasting your time, keep reporting them.
I can't believe Microsoft can't catch this
If it's in the Junk folder, spam filter already detects/catches them. It would've been better to reject them entirely instead of accepting them as spam and cluttering the Junk folder. Whether or not rejecting spam is technically feasible is a different story.
I have the same issue. 50+ spam every single day. I must check my junk mail folder regularly to ensure that something I need isn't being deleted in the junk. Scanning for real mail in the junk is a very tedious experience when you have so many emails per day from Renew@ spam. Blocking each of these one by one does nothing, as every email somehow has a different address, despite starting with Renew@. There has to be a fix for this. PLEASE HELP.
Are you blocking these as they come into the Inbox? If so, rather than block (send to Junk Mail folder) you can use a rule to automatically permanently delete all emails that come the Inbox with the word "Renew" as part of the senders address regardless how different the rest of the address is.
Look at my prior post on creating the rule and at the point of what to do with the email select permanently delete it options. Once the rule is made and active, any email with Renew in the address will be permanently deleted.
I suggest you send an enhancement request to Microsoft. While in Outlook select Help, Feedback. You will receive a list of Feedback options. Select Make a Suggestion. Then, describe the issue and request that they enhance the Rules engine to also run against the Junk email folder.
If enough of us submit this request hopefully they will give us a fix to this persistent problem.
I have the same problem since 4 months with "renew@" and also with "alert@". Each day 60 E-Mails.
