I have emails appearing in my outbox as queued or drafts and showing up as sent in the new outlook app on Windows 10. Any suggestions?

I have recently had a lot of my emails show up in both the sent folder and then immediately after showing up in the outbox as queued or drafts. If I close the outlook app on my laptop and re-open it, the outbox becomes empty. I have tried looking up trouble shooting steps but none of the suggestions are options in the outlook app that I have.

We also have some users having this issue. Emails show as queued in the outbox until New Outlook is restarted even though they are being sent and responded to by the recipient.

Support sent us to these forms for answers as they had no solutions. We ended up switching over to Google after 25 years with Microsoft.

    Sadly,

I am experiencing the same thing. Emails just sit as "queued" in outbox and never send. I open and close and still doesnt send.

Granted, these are my Gmail that I integrated into the Outlook as my main account.

Hopefully this can be resolved quickly.
