I have emails appearing in my outbox as queued or drafts and showing up as sent in the new outlook app on Windows 10. Any suggestions?

I have recently had a lot of my emails show up in both the sent folder and then immediately after showing up in the outbox as queued or drafts. If I close the outlook app on my laptop and re-open it, the outbox becomes empty. I have tried looking up trouble shooting steps but none of the suggestions are options in the outlook app that I have.

    hi, I have the same issue. Please advise if the mail went out or not if it is "queue"

    Hello, I have the same problem with the two gmail accounts linked to my 365 Outlook, its super frustrating.

    Same issue here. This mostly occurs for me if I send to email from xcel. It will default to "old" outlook to send it and push it into drafts, or outbox queued in new outlook and not send it.

    Are you having the emails actually not send? I am having emails that I hit send actually send but then immediately after ending up in the outbox eventhough they already are in the sent box.
