I have emails appearing in my outbox as queued or drafts and showing up as sent in the new outlook app on Windows 10. Any suggestions?

I have recently had a lot of my emails show up in both the sent folder and then immediately after showing up in the outbox as queued or drafts. If I close the outlook app on my laptop and re-open it, the outbox becomes empty. I have tried looking up trouble shooting steps but none of the suggestions are options in the outlook app that I have.

I got the same issue, however today the mail is both in the sent box and the outbox. The recipient received and replied to the email, however it still remains queued in my outbox. Windows 10 corporate email. Restart app has fixed it for the moment.

I'm having the exact some problem. I have both a gmail account and office365 account linked to my Outlook. The problem only seems to be occurring with emails sent from my Office365 email.
