I have emails appearing in my outbox as queued or drafts and showing up as sent in the new outlook app on Windows 10. Any suggestions?

I have recently had a lot of my emails show up in both the sent folder and then immediately after showing up in the outbox as queued or drafts. If I close the outlook app on my laptop and re-open it, the outbox becomes empty. I have tried looking up trouble shooting steps but none of the suggestions are options in the outlook app that I have.

    Hi Ryan,

    I'm having the same thing.

    Emails deliver as long as I don't do anything after sending. But my outbox is still full of 'Queued' emails which is annoying.

    Hi all.

    I found a solution to this that worked for me so I figured I'd share. I found it in a reddit thread that I've lost track of so I sadly can't credit the original user who found this.

    Go to C:\Users\YOURUSERACCOUNTHERE\AppData\Local\Microsoft\olk

    rename that olk folder to olk_old. Restarting Outlook new will force it to regenerate a new Olk folder, hopefully fixing the problem.

    Thank you! I've only done one test since performing these steps, and it worked! I only need one test, as I know it would not previously have sent my email. Grateful for you sharing this.
