I have recently had a lot of my emails show up in both the sent folder and then immediately after showing up in the outbox as queued or drafts. If I close the outlook app on my laptop and re-open it, the outbox becomes empty. I have tried looking up trouble shooting steps but none of the suggestions are options in the outlook app that I have.

Same issue here. This mostly occurs for me if I send to email from xcel. It will default to "old" outlook to send it and push it into drafts, or outbox queued in new outlook and not send it.

I'm having the exact some problem. I have both a gmail account and office365 account linked to my Outlook. The problem only seems to be occurring with emails sent from my Office365 email.
I have had the same issue. I send emails and they are receieved by my colleagues email as cced to them so I know they have been sent but the recipient is not receieving. Just noticed 5 off emails still in the outbox and labelled as queued.
