Outlook desktop calendar defaults to open at 12am instead of the work day

I use the desktop version and it opens with midnight at the top instead of 8am like is used to

  1. the Web version opens to the current time but the desktop version opens to 12am (see screen shot)

I would like it to open either to the beginning of my day (at 8am like is used to) or the current time is fine as well (like the web version does)

I can scroll down every time but its annoying. My work hours are set to 8am-4pm. I am not using New Outlook because you cannot move the folders around. This issue is only a few months old.

    Hi, I had this issue as well - the fix for me was to change the work hours from Outlook on the web, as the Outlook desktop client is currently broken, with the inability to save work hours.

    Click the gear wheel, then choose Calendar, work hours and location, and change the start time to 9am (or whatever time you start). When you change this, it will give you the option to save, and then after a few minutes restart outlook desktop and it will work.

    Hello. I am also having issue with the New outlook. My work hours are updated but it moves to 12am constantly. I have to restart for it to fix....then a couple days later it goes back to show 12am while I am in it.

    A few of our staff members at our organization are starting to have this issue as well. While not a huge issue, it is a bit bothersome to constantly need to scroll. Thank you!
