Outlook desktop calendar defaults to open at 12am instead of the work day

I use the desktop version and it opens with midnight at the top instead of 8am like is used to

  1. the Web version opens to the current time but the desktop version opens to 12am (see screen shot)

I would like it to open either to the beginning of my day (at 8am like is used to) or the current time is fine as well (like the web version does)

I can scroll down every time but its annoying. My work hours are set to 8am-4pm. I am not using New Outlook because you cannot move the folders around. This issue is only a few months old.

    I am having the exact same issue when switching to the new outlook from the old. I just want to see day hours.

    My work hours are set for 7:30 - 4:30 and the default screen is 12 am - 11:59 pm which causes constant scrolling up and down as well as having so much info crammed into the screen when having it default to say 30 minutes before and after your work hours would be so much easier to read.

    Why is this a setting in the old outlook but not in the new outlook? I do not accept the previous advice that it's a system administrator issue. I should be able to customize my own calendar view.

    I opened a ticket with the enterprise help side as my computer is managed by my organization. Apparently its a widespread issue and it is now with the engineers to work on a fix. There is currently nothing you can do at this time to change it.

    I have no option to save the start time which is at 0:00...it was at 10:00, somthing microsoft has changed recently and the soultion does not save!!!

    I am having exactly the same issue and its driving me crazy.

    All the calendars I'm working from in outlook are doing the same thing.

    They are defaulting to the view from midnight to 6am so nothing is showing on my screen unless I scroll down.

    The minute I let go of the mouse/scroller it goes back up to showing a blank calendar from midnight.

    It is seriously preventing me from working...
