  1. the Web version opens to the current time but the desktop version opens to 12am (see screen shot)

I would like it to open either to the beginning of my day (at 8am like is used to) or the current time is fine as well (like the web version does)

  1. my desktop version is

I can scroll down every time but its annoying. My work hours are set to 8am-4pm. I am not using New Outlook because you cannot move the folders around. This issue is only a few months old.

    Hello pshooter007,

    Thank you for your reply,

After thorough research and consulting internal , it is possible that it control by organization level however we need to be sure and check your version as well using some back end tool so given this situation, we do understand the inconvenience caused and apologize for it. The best way to troubleshoot the issue is to report the issue to the related Team. We’d suggest you contact your office 365 administrator to go to Office 365 Admin Center-> Support-> New Service Request, the support engineers there have the correct escalation channel and this is the most efficient way to report such issue. You can refer to this article to check the way how to raise a ticket. Ways to contact support for business products - Admin help. The engineers in related team have higher permission and resources than us to help collect log and check the root cause directly and find the correct answer base on your version since we are using different version

Thank you Eben for your reply

    I updated my office to

(its managed by my organization so that is what they allowed it to be updated to. I shut down and restarted the outlook application

    1. I attempted to change my working hours from 8am-4pm to anything else, but the values never stick. (perhaps that is another organizational managed setting i am not allowed to change).
    2. The issue still persists regardless of the software update. I have only been working in my standard calendar. i have not looked at other calendars or merged them in a very long time. The standard one is the one that still opens starting at 12am.
    3. The multi calendar is not my issue. I just want it to work for my standard calendar
    4. It is currently defaulted to 30 mins. I changed it to 15min then closed outlook and opened it again. Still starts at 12am

Please try to update your outlook version and check the issue. this version as some gap as this user. Reference: Outlook Calendar Reminders Full Screen - Microsoft Community However, to better understand the problem and provide a solution, we need more details from you, please provide us with the following information. Thank you. 1-Please go change your work hours in options and reopen Outlook. Under Outlook Options, Calendar, Work Time. Check the start time you have set up.

And check the calendar view if it shows with your start time at the top.

2- After test i find out f I use my standard calendar account, I do not have this issue. If I select an addition calendar, and I Keep them separated, I do not have this issue

If I merge the external calendar with my standard calendar in a single view, I trigger the issue.

when I would change to "email" and then change back to Calendar. I had 2 calendars showing in 1 view. I removed Calendar 2 and checked my setting for work hours, I then added calendar #2, removed #1, and checked the setting for work hours. Both had the correct settings of 8am - 5pm. I then went back to show both calendars and put them both in the same view, and check the issue

3-try the below step as well:

    1. Highlight Calendar #1
    2. Open Calendar Options (I shortcut it to "View" then "Time Scale".) OK that screen.
    3. Highlight Calendar #2
    4. Open Calendar Options (I shortcut it to "View" then "Time Scale".) OK that screen.

Done. Go to emails, then back to Calendar, and Start time should be where the calendar starts and NOT midnight.

4-try adjusting the Time Scale under View at the top of the calendar. Changing it to 30 minutes instead of the default of 60 made my calendar the right size for me. and if the issue still persist unchecking the "shared calendar improvements" option under Account properties in Outlook. and check the issue.

We look forward to your reply. This requested information will help us narrow down the scenario and find the right troubleshooting. We will continue to assist you based on the information you provide. I sincerely appreciate your patience and cooperation.SincerelyEben Ezer Tres | Microsoft Community Moderator
