Hello,

I also had the problem and digged in a bit deeper using sysinternals Process Monitor to see what exactly fails, when the system tries to download the file in the temporary outlook folder. There I figured out that my problem was a somehow missing Attachments folder!

Please press WIN-R and type %userprofile%\appdata\local\microsoft\olk and press Enter.
Then an explorer windows opens. Check if you can see an Attachments folder. If not create one and problem might be solved for you.

    Hi,
Do you have any other solution than this?

I tried this, sfc scan, delete temp file, re-create the attachment folder, reconfigure user data. In the end, the issue still persist.

1 thing i notice is, this only happen on the new outlook but on the classic outlook it's working fine. My CEO doesn't want to use the classic anymore, soo i really need some help on this.

    Thanks.

My workspace has the same issue. It stated to happen from the recent update.

    So far...

Tried delete/recreating the Attachment folder, then the entire olk folder (got it back after repairing the app)

Tried unchecking Read only attribute on the folder.

Tried bypass all the Antivirus features.

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the New Outlook app from the Store.

Tried setting New Outlook as the default app.

None of them worked. I feel like Microsoft might need to fix this bug.
