Why do agents, advisors, and moderators answer always investigate user sides? Why are they not trying to investigate their server? because not only me from Indonesia, but a lot of people from any country experience the same issue.

    Dear priya per,

Regarding the issue you and other users mentioned, if your region is supported, you can try the following steps to see if there is any effect:

Step1: Add a new email address your Microsoft account. Don't add the @outlook.com email address.

Step2: Make the new email address your account's primary alias.

Step3: Add a new phone number for the account.

Step4: Change the primary alias back to your previous @outlook.com email address.

Step5: You can now remove the added email account to your Microsoft account.

    Step6: You're done.

You can also try logging into this website: Sign in to your Microsoft account (live.com)

If the above methods do not work, you can try checking again after not making any requests for a week to see if it is resolved, and please confirm when you receive the message. The message may be in the spam or junk message section of your phone, as too many requests may cause your account to be blocked.

Hope this help you, please feel free to let me know how it goes. If there is any deviation in my understanding, please forgive me and provide me with more details. I am more than happy to continue to help you.

    Best Regards,

    Dear priya per,

Thanks for using Microsoft products and posting in the community.

I understand that whenever you try to add a phone number, a prompt saying 'We do not support this country/region code. Please use email instead' appears, which prevents you from adding a phone number or redeeming your rewards.

This situation is indeed troubling, but please rest assured that I will do my best to help you.

May I ask which country's code you are using?

Firstly, we apologize that we are unable to support certain countries and regions, which may lead to the issue you are facing.

If your country and region support it, for example, if your family or friends can use it normally, you can troubleshoot possible reasons through the following methods:

Ensure that the country/region code you entered is correct and matches your actual location.

Ensure that the country/region information in your account settings is correct. If an unsupported country/region has been selected in your account settings, try changing it to a supported region.

If the system prompts to use email instead of a phone number, you can try following the instructions to use email to complete the redemption or verification process.

If the above steps do not solve the problem, you can try contacting the corresponding telephone support personnel through this link for assistance:  Global Customer Service phone numbers - Microsoft Support

Hope this help you. If there is any deviation in my understanding, please forgive me and provide me with more details. I am more than happy to continue to help you.

    Best Regards,
