Outlook.com emails being rejected and returned by sbcglobal.net, att.net

I am aware of other questions being posted regarding this issue, but most seem to directed to corporate email, and not individual home users as myself.

As best as I can tell this problem started yesterday, August 6, 2024, when any email I sent to an sbcglobal.net or att.net email recipient was rejected and returned with the following message:

Undeliverable: Fw: PRAYER BREAKFAST, SAT AUG 10, 2024, 8 AM, at MIMI's CAFE

To: You Wed 8/7/2024 5:15 PM

This message is able to be sent again Send again

Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:

<recipient email address>

Your message wasn't delivered. Despite repeated attempts to deliver your message, the recipient's email system refused to accept a connection from your email system. Contact the recipient by some other means (by phone, for example) and ask them to tell their email admin that it appears that their email system is refusing connections from your email server. Give them the error details shown below. It's likely that the recipient's email admin is the only one who can fix this problem.

The remaining information contained in the bounce message applied to email administrators, which is not applicable to me as a home user.

This problem occurs on both my windows 11 laptop, and my iPhone 13, and occurs with both classic Outlook and new Outlook. It occurs rather I send to a single recipient to multiple recipients in my contacts list.

I was able to send emails to these recipients as late as last Friday, August 2, 2024.

What solutions does Microsoft have to help resolve this issue?

So as I have followed the many responses to my original post on AUG 7, it seems to me both companies have vulnerabilities, and both companies have continue to place the fault on the other one. Therefore neither Microsoft or AT&T has provided adequate customer service. Janice your reply states that AT&T says wait 7 days. Assuming that is an accurate assessment of when a resolution is reached, means for my issue will have taken over 3 weeks to resolve. However, if AT&T has known about this problem for a "couple of months", I have little faith that the resolution will be reached.

    Frustrated and still waiting.

Well, I received a different rejection this time. Instead of Outlook basically saying that AT&T.net is rejecting the emails and it is their fault, this time beside the string of coding, the message back by Outlook was

"There's a problem with the recipient's mailbox. Please try resending your message. If the problem continues, please contact your email admin."

I take it that this time Outlook is asking us to contact them?? Or, am I reading the message incorrectly?????

Two other things that seem to refute an earlier comment that someone posted saying that emails will go through to intended recipient if there are not attachments but are rejected if there are attachments:

    1. I sent an email to my sister without an attachment and it was kicked back with this new message I have never seen previously, in red lettering above. Plus it added the following:
"**alph769.prodigy.net gave this error: what followed was my sister's email address and the following additional info**

                                                                     **"Addressee unknown, relay=[40.92.44.84]"**

    2. I sent emails to AT&T. NET and various affiliates with attachments and received the above red lettered response but not other detail like the rejection to the email I sent to my sister.

I don't blame you Netgrampa and all others.

E-mail to sbcglobal.net from my msn.com account gets rejected only when I send an e-mail with an attachment or an e-mail that has embedded photos. Otherwise, a simple text message goes through OK.

My simple emails get rejected most of the time. No attachments. Just a short message. And it comes and goes which makes it impossible to know if people have gotten them or not.
