Outlook.com emails being rejected and returned by sbcglobal.net, att.net

I am aware of other questions being posted regarding this issue, but most seem to directed to corporate email, and not individual home users as myself.

As best as I can tell this problem started yesterday, August 6, 2024, when any email I sent to an sbcglobal.net or att.net email recipient was rejected and returned with the following message:

Undeliverable: Fw: PRAYER BREAKFAST, SAT AUG 10, 2024, 8 AM, at MIMI's CAFE

To:​ You ​ Wed 8/7/2024 5:15 PM

This message is able to be sent again Send again

Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:

<recipient email address>

Your message wasn't delivered. Despite repeated attempts to deliver your message, the recipient's email system refused to accept a connection from your email system. Contact the recipient by some other means (by phone, for example) and ask them to tell their email admin that it appears that their email system is refusing connections from your email server. Give them the error details shown below. It's likely that the recipient's email admin is the only one who can fix this problem.

The remaining information contained in the bounce message applied to email administrators, which is not applicable to me as a home user.

This problem occurs on both my windows 11 laptop, and my iPhone 13, and occurs with both classic Outlook and new Outlook. It occurs rather I send to a single recipient to multiple recipients in my contacts list.

I was able to send emails to these recipients as late as last Friday, August 2, 2024.

What solutions does Microsoft have to help resolve this issue?

    Well I am new to this chat. My problem began last week. i have a hotmail account which I guess is now Outlook but I still use hotmail.com for the ending. I receive emails and most of my emails go through to other people EXCEPT to my sister, who has an Ameritech.net email account. I get the same stupid reply that the email server at the other end (Ameritech) refuses to accept. I really can't tell from all the discussion whose issue it is, but I will say, that last week on Oct 16,2024 is when my particular email account took on a new look and that seems to be when my sister stopped receiving my emails and I would get the message that it is not deliverable. She is still not receiving them from my hotmail account, but I have not gotten any messages that they have not been received for several days now. I do have a yahoo account and she was able to receive emails from that address, but that's not what I want to use. That account is strictly for bills! So, have we made any progress? Not sure what to do.

    My outlook also returns all sbcglobal.net. att.net and now pacbell.net emails. which is really frustrating- so far my I have been able to send important items through my office email but I can't keep explaining to my employer why I need to send personal emails through work- also if I send something that that needs to go to court for my non profit I would have to supply information from my work email. ( don't want to do that))

    Same problem. Seems to be unique to the email address. My hotmail emails to sbcglobal.net are "undeliverable" but ones from my wife's email address go through. I have an sbcglobal.net account and finally got through to a human. I was told they've "elevated the issue, but it would be helpful if I opened a ticket with hotmail/outlook. I was told this would allow the two tech organizations to communicate. Unfortunately, I can find no way to get to a human at hotmail/outlook to do so - I just get run around in a circle. And the beat goes on ...

    I am also having the exact same problem since late summer. Just realized they are all sbc.net email addresses. I am a personal address. Computer and Android phone. This sounds like Outlooks problem....

    It seems to have popped up again. Very frustrating. Wish they would just "play nice!"
