Can someone please tell me why my Outlook Calendar wont make changes or allow me to add new appointments, it tell me something went wrong and try again later

I saw there was a Windows update installed on 13 Nov - in my case it was this morning - which I hoped would have included a fix but I am still unable to make appointments in the calendar. I have shut down and restarted.
Have others the same experience?

Given Microsoft's incompetence & lack of urgency. I am using a product that actually works Google Calendars or Apple Phone
Just enter your appointment's using Google Calendar or your Phone Calendar & they simply sync automatically with Outlook! Way from perfect but avoids setting up an alternative e-mail & potential of sending e-mails from the wrong user, etc, etc from the Microsoft proposed solution
This works for google & I suspect will be appropriate for other applications
Same experience here. Started, restarted still cannot add to my calendar.
Ok so here is what I did. I downloaded MS 360 (apparently new version). Now when I open Outlook and the calendar I can see what was previously there and can now add and delete events. The strange thing is I now have 2 versions of Outlook. 1 old version that won't allow calander entries and the new one that will. Strange and confusing. MS you really screwed this one up.
