My Outlook Calendar wont allow me to add or make changes

I switched to New Outlook some weeks ago but now I have been without it for a week! Is a fix likely any day soon?

I'm on the New Outlook and it's still hopeless as it has been for a week now! And MS must remember we are not all techies and have no interest in the workings but just users who rely on it.

I just read an article that Microsoft is dropping support for Calander as of Dec 31.

Microsoft is set to end support for it's Windows Mail, Calendar and People apps at the end of the year. In recent months, Microsoft has begun to move users over to the new Outlook for Windows app which will replace them. Microsoft is set to end its support of these aforementioned apps as of December 31st.

This issue still persists. This morning after roughly 20-30 minutes of the recent Windows patch updates, unfortunately a fix to this issue with the New Outlook calendar was not included as a fix. In the meantime, until there is a permanent fix, the best solution I've found is to manage all things calendar via gmail and it will update in Outlook if entered via google calendar but not the other way around. What is hard to understand is that everything worked fine before the past week or so, would imagine that Microsoft would be able to put their finger on what they changed and did to break it and then fix it...this should be something that is able to be fixed in under a day, not weeks or months.

Ok so here is what I did. I downloaded MS 360 (apparently new version). Now when I open Outlook and the calendar I can see what was previously there and can now add and delete events. The strange thing is I now have 2 versions of Outlook. 1 old version that won't allow calander entries and the new one that will. Strange and confusing. MS you really screwed this one up.
