Can someone please tell me why my Outlook Calendar wont make changes or allow me to add new appointments, it tell me something went wrong and try again later

The old version number in question is 1.2024.1023.300. You can download this new version shown in the update screenshot to see if you can use Calendar Events properly.

OK, when I opened the 'New' Outlook, I was able to post an event without downloading the ap', although the history doesn't show anything being pushed onto my system this evening while I wasn't at the computer.
However, that doesn't address the problem I also complained about that some events, including US Holidays, are being displayed over 2 days instead of just one day as it should. The product is STILL buggy.
After some time and effort, I found the version number for the installed 'New' Outlook. It is the same as the version you listed (1.2024.1107.100). Shouldn't it be different from the buggy version? Since when are programs changed without the version number reflecting that it is an update that has fixed a problem? No wonder there are issues!
When I went to the MS Store, it showed several calendar programs. The first one on the top left says "Installed." How do I know which one to use? One of my complaints is that currently I get either a blank window, the Classic Outlook, or the 'New' Outlook, depending on how I try to launch the program. How do I tell them apart? Shouldn't there be at least a version number or other identifying feature so that one doesn't corrupt files by downloading the wrong Ap'?

The latest version of Outlook (New) has fixed the calendar issue. You can download the latest Outlook for Windows version 1.2024.1107.100 from the Microsoft Store. The latest version has been tested to fix the calendar issue.
