My Outlook Calendar wont allow me to add or make changes

I went back to the previous /original windows calendar / mail app once there switched back to Outlook. this cured problem

Nothing works. Even tried creating an outlook email account and forwarding appointments to that. Seemed logical. Worked for a couple of days then suddenly, the new outlook address rejects emails with meeting requests included. Thanks for that! The cynic in me assumes Microsoft has deliberately closed this loop because it worked.

This is getting serious Microsoft. Is anyone out there? Anyone listening?? I doubt it. New Outlook is causing damage to our businesses! You've had our money now you just don't care clearly. Will anyone from Microsoft actually read this or reply? Probably not. It is a company that clearly does NOT care about it's customers now you have taken our money. We are small businesses. We don't have IT departments. We trying to sort this ourselves. Old Outlook worked well for us. The new product is TOO RESTRICTIVE and complicated. We all have our domains registered in various places, with email accounts linked. WHY DO YOU MAKE IT SO DIFFICULT FOR US TRADE NOW? Please reverse this crazy situation. It is threatening our small businesses!

Didn't work. I have the correct one installed: 1.2024.1107.100

I closed and reopened the New Outlook, still get the "we cant retrieve your calendar events right now"

I went into Windows and had it repair the app, no change. I then reset the app and still am getting the same error message

My client version is different and I don't know how to change it

We are back to writing on a paper calendar. The previous non Outlook

calendar worked just great. We recently switched over to Outlook

because we were told that the old calendar was being

discontinued as of 12/31/2024. What a disaster!

I did this as well. Then I went back to the gmail account as my primary, and then everything worked.
