My Outlook Calendar wont allow me to add or make changes

Not change for me.

I have terminal cancer and rely on outlook to keep my blood tests and meetings with radiotherapy and oncology as well as blood tests. MS treats this as a computer game. I wish you well.

I assume an update was uploaded to my laptop overnight because it had restarted this morning and I was able to make a few changes to the Outlook calendar but now it's back to the "Something Went Wrong" error response when I try to add or make any changes.

Is there any update on this issue? It has been going on for days. Is the only answer to revert back to classic outlook and stop using NEW Outlook?

First off, my Classic Outlook was stable for years. Then I started having problems with Calendar several months ago. The MS tech' upgraded me to the 'New' Outlook and things were stable for a few months, and then I started having problems with some events (including US Holidays) spanning two days instead of just one. There were also issues with the time zone being corrupted and when I corrected that, some of the expired events show the wrong time. The last few days I haven't been able to add events directly to the 'New' Outlook Calendar. I discovered quite by accident, that using the Outlook Classic Calendar accessed online to read mail when I'm not at my own computer, the Calendar entry was propagated to the 'New' Calendar. Unfortunately, all of the other entries (including holidays) are missing from the Classic Calendar. It is difficult to tell which of the three different Calendars that come up are which. The only clue is that apparently bringing up the 'New' Calendar gives one the option of reverting to the Classic Outlook, which I don't know why anyone would want to do if it is going to go away after 6-weeks. I only have two email accounts, not three.

I'm left with the impression that the change over to the 'New' Outlook, and discontinuing the Classic Outlook wasn't given the level of thought and quality control it deserved. I expect that MS is going to have their hands full at the end of December! In the mean time, I hope I don't miss any doctor's appointments because of pushed updates.
