Suddenly Cannot Get Mail on my iPhone. And a message The mail server "imap-mail.outlook.com" is not responding.comes out. I tried a lot of things but it’s not working. Some one might help with this issue. Thanks

    I have this same problem on my IPhone with - Account Error:Hotmail - The mail server “imapmail.outlook.com” is not responding - Are there steps to correct this ?

    I found the answer on the Microshaft website. We must thank them for changing the server settings without telling anyone.

    IMAP:

    Server: outlook.office365.com

    Port: 993

    Encryption: SSL/TLS

    Auth: OAuth2/Modern Auth

    POP

    Server: outlook.office365.com

    Port: 995

    Encryption: SSL/TLS

    Auth: OAuth2/Modern Auth

    SMTP

    Server: smtp-mail.outlook.com

    Port: 587

    Encryption: STARTTLS

    Auth: OAuth2/Modern Auth

    GO back to your phone where you were trying to enter the incoming server information and under

    IMAP Server enter outlook.office365.com

    and under SMTP Server enter smtp-mail.outlook.com

    I hope this helps..it worked for me

    Thanks for the info ! Still not working for me as I go to “Account” and see “Incoming Mail Server” and under that “Host Name”. What’s there is “imap-mail.outlook.com”. I tried your change suggestion in a couple of different ways but none worked. Maybe it’s an Apple Mail

    Issue but I heard it was Microsoft changing settings without notification.I’m not good at this sort of thing🙂 but I’ll keep plugging away.
