Cannot Get Mail The mail server "imap-mail.outlook.com" is not responding.

I was able to access my email after I deleted the app and reinstalled it by searching for " mail" but was not able to figure out how to get the icon for it back onto my phone. I'm pretty much hopeless at technology stuff. Any suggestions for a tech dummy?

You should be able to get the icon for mail back on if you go to the App Store and download the mail app you were using on your device? I have Apple Mail on my iPhone and IPad..You should be able to recognize your icon mail when you see it on the App Store..?

I’m no tech expert either. My Apple Mail app never disappeared. All I can think of is to reload it from the App Store.

I actually stumbled onto the solution.

When on my Home Screen I swiped down from the top and got a page that had the icon I wanted and held my fingertip on it until it wiggled and one of the options was to restore or add to Home Screen. I selected that and then moved it to where it used to be. Milagros !

Morning. Getting the icon isn’t the problem, it’s the fact that all my folders have disappeared, no mater how I delete/add the app etc?
