Suddenly Cannot Get Mail on my iPhone. And a message The mail server "imap-mail.outlook.com" is not responding.comes out. I tried a lot of things but it’s not working. Some one might help with this issue. Thanks

Thanks, I finally figured out if I use the Outlook app instead of the mail app all my email works correctly. Maybe this will help someone else -- hope so! God bless.
I found the answer on the Microshaft website. We must thank them for changing the server settings without telling anyone.
IMAP:
Server: outlook.office365.com
Port: 993
Encryption: SSL/TLS
Auth: OAuth2/Modern Auth
POP
Server: outlook.office365.com
Port: 995
Encryption: SSL/TLS

i found the way in IOS,
Del account and re-setup again,
In new account setting first page, normally had few brand to pick, (like icloud, Google, yahoo etc....)
PICK OUTLOOK and follow the rest of information,
than done

I understand that you mentioned an error related to imap-mail.outlook.com.
Due to the introduction of modern authentication, outlook.com does not support connecting IMAP/POP and SMTP in Outlook. So please check the following:
If you are using the Outlook app for iOS, due to modern authentication, Outlook/Hotmail no longer supports connecting IMAP/POP and SMTP.
If you are using Apple Mail to configure Outlook/Hotmail, we generally recommend selecting outlook.com for configuration.
If you wish to configure using the IMAP protocol, you need to confirm with Apple Mail support whether they support modern authentication for configuring IMAP.

I have an MSN account that stopped working suddenly as well...all of the same symptoms that you all are seeing. What I had to do was delete my MSN account from my phone and reinstall it as an outlook account instead. It immediately initiated and all of my mails are there as before...strange, but it worked.
