Hovering over a hyperlink in the "new" outlook doesn't display the actual URL. How can this be remedied.

A very dangerous behavior in the new outlook is that hoving the mouse pointer over a hyperlink in an email no longer displays the actual URL of the link.

Seeing the true URL is the #1 way people can avoid getting email scammed. Removing this tool is inviting people to get defrauded. This should not be a default behavior and I cannot see how to resolve this.

    This is extremely dangerous, and ms support told me it is this way "by design". Insecure by design. let that sink in.

    it can not be over emphasized how stupid this behavior is. Does MS collab with Cozy Bear and Lazerous? Hey russia, have a crack at americans email!

    Since it is inconsistent (it works on some, but not others), I'm not sure support can say it is "by design". We just need it to be available for everyone, and it's important that this happens ASAP!

    Hi Marcin, I just repaired Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime and restarted Outlook, but I still can't preview links. Did you have to reboot before it worked?
