Outlook calendar will not allow a date or time change to a scheduled event via the date/time pull downs

In my outlook calendar I can no longer change the date or time of any event using the pull down arrows to change the start date or time. When I input a new day or time, it reverts back to the original. I am able to change the date/time of event by dragging the event, but this is cumbersome. It is a new computer and Office 365. This is a new issue and started approximately 2 weeks ago.

    The only work around that sometimes works is to click the "scheduling assistant" tab then go back to the "appointment" tab.

    Well, now this issue is back on my version of Outlook.

    My Windows 11 version is 24H2 26100.4351 and my Outlook version is Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2506 Build 16.0.18925.20076) 64-bit.

    Had to revert back to using my iPhone to enter an appointment that was not all day.

    Never ends.
