Hi - I didn't get a response and had set it up on my Outlook which is a pain as I already have a work and school account on Outlook and didn't want to add my personal on there too. However, have just seen the response from DMc_737 and followed that and it works and it's back on my iphone mail app now. Maybe give it a try?

Iphone 11( IOS18)
Email app stopped working.
Tried switching phone off and back on , deleted the email account and tried adding it on but kept getting the error message “ IMAP server ……. Password does not support authentication.” I was selecting “other” option when adding it on .
When i selected “outlook.com” option instead of “other” , it worked. Problem resolved.
