I have the same issue. Even if I change my email from 'other' to 'outlook.com' and input my hotmail address and password it does not retrieve my emails on my phone. I need to keep my personal hotmail account separate from my work outlook account. Are there any other fixes out there besides DMC's post from September 27, 2024.
On your iPhone, go to settings/mail/Mail Accounts/add account/hit the Outlook.com Icon/sign in with your Hotmail info. Then you will have an additional mail account show up (the new Outlook/Hotmail) so then you can go back to Mail Accounts, hit Hotmail and deselected Mail.. or just delete the old Hotmail account but you may lose access to previous mail.
I still have not received any such email with instructions. I am at a total standstill all my important emails. I cannot retrieve and I’m not receiving emails. I have Hotmail on my iPhone that is my main email. I am totally screwed. What can I do and I am very disappointed.
