Accessing Outlook .pst files in New Outlook

I have twenty years of history in various .pst files.  When I first started using Outlook, my single .pst file and all my folders got too large and I was instructed to move some of my folders into new .pst files.  These .pst files contain lots of important emails and historic records attached to emails.  So I filed all the emails into various folders within various .pst files. 

If Outlook will no longer support .pst files, how will I be able to access the .pst files?  I understand that Microsoft will no longer support “Old Outlook”.  So what can I now do to be able to access these various .pst files?  Should i go back to what I was doing originally and move everything from .pst files into folders within my "root" Outlook email? That would put about 4.5G of emails into my New Outlook. How will that work?

    So once again, Microsoft launches a half baked "NEW' product, like phone link, various upgrades to Outlook emails with useless popups hiding essential commands, et al. A total failure to understand that some items require security OFF LINE, OFF CLOUD. Like .pst folders. Calendars as well, you'ved removed the scroll up or down. We now have to SELECT the month we want. What a magnificent idea.

    All this forcing your retail clients to work the unproductive Microsoft way, so that Microsoft can harvest as much information as you like in the "cloud" for your own nefarious use. All the while FORCING us to pay for more storage in the "cloud" or subscribing to 365 when many of us are desperate to avoid subscriptions.

    WHY MICROSOFT WHY? Once an inventor (Encarta, etc et al) now a destrpyer of creativity and personalisation. Are you beholden to the Murdochs?

    Hi,

    I guess my problem is the new OAUTH security.

    I am using now microsoft 365 with the latest updates (including outlook 365)

    I am using a PST file, and I have three mail accounts configured as POP3.

    The PST file includes mails in many folders, contacts, and calendar entries

    I would like to keep all the entries.

    What are my options?
