Unable to save new calendar events.

Until today I was able to make new entries on my calendar but now I get a message" Something went wrong. We couldn't save your calendar event. Waiting a bit might help. Keep your calendar event open to try again later." I have restarted my computer with no result. I have waited a bit, as in several hours, with no luck. When I recorded the event on another computer using Outlook 2019 it saved on that computer but nowhere else. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Hello everyone,

We have the latest progress and temporary solution for this issue here.

Our team reproduced and found out the cause of the problem: When a third-party IMAP/POP email accounts, such as Gmail, Yahoo, is set as the primary account of the new Outlook, this problem of not being able to create calendar events will be triggered. However, only the primary account cannot create events, and other accounts in the application can create events normally. This problem does not occur for primary account of Microsoft domains (outlook.com, hotmail.com etc.).

Solution: Please add another mailbox that is not frequently used as the primary account, so that your current mailbox will be able to create calendar events normally. Click [Settings] - [Accounts] - [Manage] - [Set as primary account].

Not accurate. We are using our own domain in a hybrid environment, and we have the same result for some users.

Are you sure? because I am currently having this problem with outlook.

We have a shared calendar, cant make events on the shared calendar, cant make on web calendar or mobile calendar, so something is still wrong
