Not sure how this happened but the new outlook is easily the worst piece of software I have ever seen. That takes into account MS-Dos and Win 95 disasters.
No clue why on earth they would force this garbage on us, when most of us used to say how great outlook was......
I MUST get back to classic now and how can I do it as it dropped all my other email accounts and created armageddon
NEED answers now

2024-12-07T19:00:45+00:00 To get the old Outlook back on a PC at least, open the run dialog by pressing the Windows and R keys. Type Outlook.exe. Press enter.
Agree that this new Outlook is a disaster I'm using the Outlook 2019 PC version through Verizon as a POP account relayed through AOL. The new Outlook is not yet usable with a POP account. You can't log in, it doesn't recognize your account, and it helpfully offers to send an authorization code to your email that you can't log in to and it can't send to.

2024-12-07T19:21:26+00:00 After getting back to the old Outlook close the new Outlook. Click the Start button. Right click on Outlook New. Choose uninstall. This should remove the new Outlook from both the Start menu and your task bar. Be careful not to uninstall plain Outlook by accident.
It is likely that Windows Update will reinstall the new Outlook when run.

2024-12-08T18:48:42+00:00 Fortunately MS did not remove the classic Outlook from your system, at least not yet. The classic Outlook is still in your Start menu and list of programs. They just removed the shortcut in the taskbar and replaced it with an icon similar to the classic Outlook.
