New Outlook: I cannot add a new contact to People.

The best thing to do is to submit an In App ticket for this issue via Help, Support. When you submit the ticket include this forum thread, so the engineers see this is affecting multiple users.

If you use Outlook Web Access (OWA) are you able to add the contact from there, https://outlook.office.com/mail/? 

I'm following up with escalation engineers to see if they have any other guidance about this issue. I'll post back any guidance I get.

To better understand the issue, when you click People on the left navigation do you see All contacts under the account? What is the domain of your account e.g. @outlook.com, @msn.com, @live.com, etc.?

Also, to double check, if you click Settings on New Outlook top navigation do you have one or more accounts? It may matter if there are multiple if the main account you want to add the contacts is not marked as Primary.

It doesn't say All Contacts. It says Your Contacts if it matters. I took a screen shot but I would rather not public post my email address or my contacts. I checked for additional accounts and I am the only one. I am primary. Also, the OWA has the same problem. I am not able to add new contacts or open existing contacts.

I don't know what I have. I don't understand Microsoft 365 or Outlook. All I know is I used to be able add a new contact or edit existing ones. Now I can't.

I used to have a VERY easy to use webmail system. But then for some reason my internet provider said i HAD to switch to this... whatever it is. It's ALWAYS given me fits. Not intuitive at all!!!

I just want email that works.

When I go to "Help" there is no option for "Support".

I don't know what "Outlook Web Access (OWA)" is

I clicked on that link but I have the same problem.

Why is Outlook so clumsy and difficult to use? It is not user-friendly at all.

Is there a way I can go back to an old version of Outlook?
