New Outlook: I cannot add a new contact to People.

I click on the blue New Contact button & nothing happens. There is no error message. I have cleared the Outlook cache. I also did Quick Repair & Online Repair but I still cannot add new contacts.

    That is actually a great idea. I have the exact same issue, when I click on New Contact, nothing happens. However, I can import email addresses from Excel, so I guess I have a workaround. Absolutely agree that if so many people have a problem, then just fix the problem! Why do so many users have to go look up versions and email independently if it is a known issue?

    Hi all,

    The ISSUE IS RESOLVED for my mailbox.

    I just tested this in "New Outlook" and in OWA.

    I can now create new contacts, view and edit existing contacts.

    I have no idea what they did to fix the issue for me but I suspect the issue will be resolved for everyone impacted very soon if it is not already resolved.

    Same problem. I also can not edit email addresses. I have gone to www.outlook.com, phoned Microsoft, googled the problem and no help.
