I click on the blue New Contact button & nothing happens. There is no error message. I have cleared the Outlook cache. I also did Quick Repair & Online Repair but I still cannot add new contacts.

I was excited & optimistic to try this but, it did not correct the problem. I still cannot enter a new contact or open an existing one.
The Outlook Team is investigating this issue for a fix. If you are still experiencing the issue, please try the workaround below.
This issue seems to be reproducible when the option Enable offline email, calendar, and people is enabled and according to our Outlook Support Team, customers managed to resolve the issue by toggling this to OFF and back to ON. Please give this a try in case it can help.
I am also having the same problem. It is so basic why don't they fix it rather than ask us to do a load of work that brings us back to the same problem.
We are having the same issue. I have this issue with my business email and my customers (who I sell this product to) are having the same issue. I click on add contact or edit and nothing happens. Also most of my icons are blurred out such as restore, move, add members, invite others, leave group and some other options
"I cannot add a new contact to People"
This is obviously a big problem for a lot of people. Microsoft support is terrible! I wish there was an alternative. This is something that worked flawlessly 30 years ago but the new generation of Microsoft engineers can't figure it out.
I am now manually typing my contacts into an Excel file and I copy and paste them from there to my emails. Soon it will more efficient to write your letters on paper and mail them to the recipients via US postal service.
