New Outlook: I cannot add a new contact to People.

Yep, Ive been having the same issue. I used to be able to right click on the name of the sender or anyone in the 'to' or 'cc' list and "Add to Contacts" but that no longer works. In fact, when I right click on the name, if and i mean IF, a drop down is given it will highlight, but nothing happens. No boxes open, nothing.

I am ready to move my entire team to Google Workspace, as we are a nonprofit, and our contact list is our lifeblood. Outlook has given me so many problems in the past with my staff and myself. As hard as it is to want to move to google because I hate their email optics and functionality, it is looking as if it is the only option as I have run out of patience with Microsoft on so many different levels.

This is obviously a big problem for a lot of people. Microsoft support is terrible! I wish there was an alternative. This is something that worked flawlessly 30 years ago but the new generation of Microsoft engineers can't figure it out.

I am now manually typing my contacts into an Excel file and I copy and paste them from there to my emails. Soon it will more efficient to write your letters on paper and mail them to the recipients via US postal service.

I'm having the same issue. This is something outlook should fix sooner than later please.

You have Microsoft Outlook Version 1.2024.1017.300 (Production).

Client Version is 20241018004.09.

I am not able to add new contacts on my Desktop Outlook or in Outlook on the Web.

When I switch back to Classic Outlook I cannot even open the Contact window.

Outlook has been updated.

I do not use Add Ons.

I'm having the same problem.
