Hi There,
We currently use a third-party phishing and spam report add-on in Outlook. Previously we used the Report Message add-in but soon removed this just so we would have one means of reporting emails.
This has been working for us fine but I have noticed that on the current Channel there is another "Report" button on the Home tab. I can't see any information on this in the release notes and nothing in the Microsoft Admin Centre that can remove this tenant-wide. The only way I can remove it is manually removing it from the Ribbon, which isn't feasible for 200+ devices.
Can anyone assist in how I can remove this for all devices?

Your "Monitor reported messages in Outlook" is actually disabled.
Mine is enabled, with the option "Use a non-Microsoft add-in button".
I also have "Monitor reported messages in Microsoft Teams" enabled too.
Not quite the same. The big difference is the top button.
It seems crazy to me that we are this far in with no fix. We have plenty of individuals (me included) that have the right settings in place, and this Report button is still showing up across our organization when we do not want it.
Here are my options as well (and has always been set this way) showing that according to the updates provided should be how it is configured so the Microsoft Report button "does not appear":
Microsoft documentation states that you must have the "Monitor reported messages in Outlook" selected for the proper use of the Microsoft Report button or a third party reporting option. See Microsoft documentation - User reported settings - Microsoft Defender for Office 365 | Microsoft Learn under section labeled "Use the Microsoft Defender portal to configure user reported settings".
Anyone having any luck in getting this removed or provide me with some clarification on what settings are incorrect from my screenshot?
I checked with the Outlook Team and this issue is a bug. Sorry for the confusion. The fix will come from the Defender Team. We don't know an ETA yet but I will monitor and report back when I know more.
Bug: The Microsoft built-in Report button is still available in Classic Outlook even when “Use a non-Microsoft add-in button” was set in the User reported settings in Microsoft Defender for Office 365.

As an item I found, there is some options for pushing updates out to hide the Report button from Outlook through various ways, but to share one option, you can modify the olkexplorer.officeUI file in the C:\Users{user}\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office path and append the following:
<mso:group idQ="mso:GroupReportAction" visible="false"/>
to manually hide the Report button from the ribbon. This can allow for a more automated approach across an environment.
