Classic Outlook - Until when will it be supported & available for use?

Based on my experience in Silicon Valley, I'd say it could well be that MS's big 365 customers don't want its employees using all the features in Outlook Classic. Too much liberty! Too much individuality! Too much emailing outside the box!

The amount of misinformation I have seen on this topic is staggering.

1. If you are using a paid Microsoft 365 subscription for Windows that includes downloadable Desktop Apps. (As of May 2025, this is all plans except "Microsoft 365 Basic" and "Microsoft 365 Business Basic").

2. If you don't have a Microsoft 365 subscription, or you don't trust Microsoft to stick to their roadmap for Microsoft 365 subscriptions, then you can purchase the Windows version of Office Home & Business 2024 which includes Outlook 2024 for Windows. This has the standard five year support.

If you are an Windows Enterprise customer, you can purchase Office LTSC 2024.

None of this applies to Mac users. There is no option to remain on, or revert to, Legacy Outlook for Mac.
