Classic Outlook - Until when will it be supported & available for use?

I think that's their plan.

I think a better question is: "When will Microsoft fix all the bugs and return the beloved classic features and functions to 'New' (and useless) Outlook?"

I have only tried using New Outlook for 2 days. I couldn't bear it for more.

1. It changed all the times in the calendar to one hour BEFORE the time they are set in Classic.
2. I could find no way to sort the "Sent" folder to the "To:" field which I use a lot.
3. Even though MS says it is possible to switch back and forth, it is not. When I toggle the "new" setting off, a feedback form appears; I fill it out; click "submit", Outlook closes down and does NOT reappear in Classic form. If I reopen Outlook, it is still as "New". Same thing if I DON'T fill out the form. In fact once one has reinstalled MS 365, it takes an act of congress to find and install Classic.
4. Even though I have my OWN MS365 license, apparently there is no way to get MS to use MY license instead of my organization's so I can't set up a group distribution list. It forces me to use the outlook.com address for the organization. Did someone think a person would NEVER have access to two MS365 licenses? and, further, use one license for one purpose and the other for something else?

Please tell me that Microsoft didn't hand this app to the local high school to develop. How did they let this thing out the door?

Use IMAP for Gmail

Manual Syncing

The above works if your desktop app is still functioning for the web-based Outlook, here's a workaround that might help:

1. Create a Browser Shortcut:
   • Open your web browser and navigate to the classic version of Outlook on the Web. The URL for the classic view is generally longer and might include specific parameters indicating the classic version.
   • In most cases, the URL for the classic version should look something like this: https://outlook.office.com/owa/?path=/classic.
   • Once you're on the classic version, bookmark the page.
2. Add the Bookmark to the Start Menu:
   • For Chrome:
     • Open the bookmark manager (Ctrl+Shift+O).
     • Drag the bookmark to your desktop.
     • Right-click on the desktop shortcut, select "Pin to Start".
   • For Edge:
     • Click on the three dots in the top-right corner, go to "Apps", and select "Install this site as an app".
     • Once installed, right-click on the app icon and select "Pin to Start".

By creating a browser shortcut to the classic version of Outlook on the Web and pinning it to the Start menu you should be able to bypass the new version completely
