Duluge of SPAM from "agenciaidea.es"

After a fairly quiet six months-or-so, I am suddenly getting a flood of SPAM from "******@agenciaidea.es".

I am talking around 50-per-day, and sometimes in batches of several within a few minutes.

They all have the same format, with purple writing at the top and the "advert" appearing as an image below.

Also, the "To:..." is never my email address, but a Hotmail address with a load of random letters (e.g. "******@hotmail.com").

Help!

Have these spam emails suddenly stopped? The last one I got was Friday Nov 1st. I'm wondering if the folks who run the agenciaidea.es domain fixed something on their end or if Microsoft changed something. Or maybe others are still getting them?

If you are getting a ton of these in the spam/junk folder like I am, you can do this to automatically delete them and never see them.

    1. Go to your Settings -> Mail -> Junk email and add agenciaidea.es as a safe sender/domain.
    2. Then go to Settings -> Mail -> Rules and create a rule with condition Message header includes agenciaidea.es and action Delete.

(found these directions in a post by Zachary.W at https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook_com/forum/all/block-spamphishing-coming-from-agenciaideaes/e2f8b89d-f133-4028-ba4b-ee105005e8e1)

The reason for adding the domain to the safe senders list is because the rules don't get processed against emails that are already in the Junk folder.

Well, so much for blocking by domain name. As of this morning the flood of messages are back in my junk mail folder because the sender changed. It's now like this:

ChargeCard <@agenciaidea.es>; on behalf of; ChargeCard <@hotmail.fr>; (ChargeCard via agenciaidea.es)

    and this:

Elon Musk <@agenciaidea.es>; on behalf of; Elon Musk <@hotmail.fr>; (Elon Musk via agenciaidea.es)

Basically it's being sent "on behalf of" now from an ever-changing list of email addresses at hotmail.fr. I had to go into settings, add hotmail.fr to the safe senders list, then make a second rule to move messages from hotmail.fr to deleted items. Apologies to anyone trying to email me from hotmail.fr for something legitimate...

After a week of madness, I put agenciaidea.es on the blocked list in SETTINGS. Seems to be working.
