Sending, receiving, and organizing email in Outlook.com
Problem solved! Apparently, logging through the website and signaling the emails as PHISHING makes the nightmere stop. Try!

After a fairly quiet six months-or-so, I am suddenly getting a flood of SPAM from "******@agenciaidea.es".
I am talking around 50-per-day, and sometimes in batches of several within a few minutes.
They all have the same format, with purple writing at the top and the "advert" appearing as an image below.
Also, the "To:..." is never my email address, but a Hotmail address with a load of random letters (e.g. "******@hotmail.com").
Help!

Hi I tried what you said and so far itβs worked a treat so many many thanks for that πππ you would have thought that with so many complaints that Microsoft/Outlook would have acted and done something about it. Good luck to everyone else πππ
I tried reporting phishing. It had no effect.
I am suffering in the same way. Today I received 168 spam emails from the same address. This definitely needs to be addressed.
Got you beat! Cleaned out all of the ******@agenciaidea.es emails from the junk folder last night and today I had over 200. Sorry, it was meant to be a funny. I am so frustrated with getting emails from this sender I could scream. They have been escalating in number every day. I select and Report them, but they keep coming. Microsoft, fix this. I've had enough.
