Hi I did the account recovery form for my friend as he lost access to his account due to suspicious activity and I filled out two forms but I haven’t gotten any positive or negative response back to me and the only exception was the security code that I got.
It says they will respond within 24 hours but it’s been at least over 30 hours as I filled them out on June 2nd. I know they can’t help with the account but is there any way to contact or speak to them about why it isn’t arriving in my email?

I’ve had the same problem with subcriptions. Just stop the payment at your bank. I had a Microsoft subscription and went to my bank app and stopped the payment. Otherwise there’s no way to cancel the subcription without logging in.
As sad as this sounds my xbox account of 17 years i which has everything tied up. its so disheartening to see so many others have been let down, normally the 3 number thing and anything else. its my own fault for not having an up to date back email but i guess thats just it.
Everything else can be replaced as it just just an email that i used to link apps with etc but i have to on main ones cancel and start again, wish there was an easy system to work but hey ho ive just come to realization the last week Microsoft doesn't care if you really have locked yourself out.
Can you advise what to do when you submit an account recovery form and the email response was "because you've turned on two-step verification for your account, we ignore these requests. I have been asked to update my password repeatedly and now I cant get a code as it says I have requested too many codes today and try again tomorrow. Hi. I also didn't receive a response to my second recovery form submission. My account was locked until an hour ago. After traversing the internet I could find the way to get to the live chat support from Microsoft. Once there, the user who helped me told me to try to change my password here: account.microsoft.com. I did it from my phone with mobile data activated (not wifi), and I could change it, and recover my almost lost forever account.
Isn’t this the way to get to the recovery form? I tried this but it didn’t work. Can you go through the steps of what you did
